Counting down...

Today marks officially 30 days until I leave for France! Well, it’s technically 12:46 am right now and I don’t count that quite as “tomorrow” yet til I’ve slept. Whatever, you get the idea. I’ve booked my Airbnb for the first week+ that I will be in Colmar searching for apartments. It feels SO GOOD to have that out of the way. Not nearly as great as I’m sure I’ll feel once I officially have my apartment, but still amazing to know I have the security of an actual place to crash when I arrive in France. My visa arrived a little less than two weeks after my appointment. *whispers embarrassedly* I still need to choose a channeler for my FBI identity history summary and get my fingerprints taken….this needs to happen like, ASAP, because it needs to be mailed to me and then scanned to my TAPIF application. I am the worst with fluid deadlines. HA HA. Otherwise, this next month shall entail fastidiously finishing up what I have left to do before I go—the ever-popular packing, a crowd favorite. I'll try to update again before I go, til then!
